Friday 12^th July 2019 marks the annual The Bishop of Winchester Academy Sports Day held here at the Academy.

Students will need to arrive in their normal academy uniform but must bring their PE kit in order to get changed to be able to take part in their events.

Field events will be taking place during lessons 1 - 3 (8.30am - 11.30am) followed by track events from 12.00pm - 2.00pm. Students will be attending all morning lessons and will need to bring all of their usual equipment for these lessons. Students who are competing in the field events will be excused from lessons when they are taking part in an event during morning lessons.

All students will be spectating or competing in the afternoon events from 12:00pm - 2:00pm and the academy would like to invite parents to join us on the field. If you wish to attend, please arrive at 12.00pm on Friday 12th July and sign in at reception.

There will be refreshments which can be purchased with money raised being donated to Cancer Research UK.

We advise that if the weather is hot, please provide your child with suncream, a hat and plenty of water.

In the event of bad weather, Sports Day will be cancelled and a text message will be sent and notifications will be displayed on the academy website.
