National Apprenticeship Week 2024 is coming!
National Apprenticeship Week 2024 runs 5 - 11 February this year and in their Careers Assembly, year 8 students learnt why they might want to consider an apprenticeship pathway in the future.
Apprenticeships are designed by employers, so the training reflects the skills, knowledge and behaviours an apprentice will need for a particular occupation. Training is of a high standard and only training providers who are on the register of apprenticeship training providers can deliver the training.
Working as an apprentice means you earn as you learn. An apprentice works in a real job and spends 20% of their working hours training, so you gain the skills needed for your chosen occupation. Apprenticeships include a qualification, which can be up to a degree, a Master’s degree or a professional qualification level. All the training is free, so the apprentice has no student debt to worry about.
Amazing Apprenticeships can show you why they think Apprentices are Amazing in this film.
