Welcome to TBOWA 6th Form

At The Bishop of Winchester Academy, we provide an outstanding post-16 education, offering high quality teaching through a dynamic and diverse curriculum of both academic and vocational courses.

As we embrace the Conceptual Age, we develop within our students their own individual abilities to be

·                     Creative

·                     Design-focused

·                     Innovative

·                     Empathetic

·                     Strong problem solvers

skills vital for navigating the changing careers landscape of the future.

At TBOWA 6th Form, students are not just numbers; they are valued individuals, whose potential is nurtured with care, made possible by our small size and big hearts. Our ethos is built on a foundation of Christian values, promoting a community of respect, integrity, and academic rigor. With a broad range of A levels and vocational courses, we cater to diverse interests and career ambitions, ensuring students can live life to the full.

Transitioning to 6th Form can be challenging, but at TBOWA, students are supported every step of the way. Our dedicated pastoral team ensures each student receives personalised guidance, from academic mentoring to careers advice, and full support with their post-18 applications. In addition, our Step up to Oxford partnership, with New College, ensures students can apply successfully to study at the best universities in the world.

One former student remarked, "One of the best things about The Bishop of Winchester Academy is the unwavering support that all students receive throughout their time here. The dedicated teachers and staff members have always been there to guide us, inspire us, and help us reach our full potential."
