GCSE Results 2016
GCSE results at TBOWA are the best results the school has ever achieved, significantly above the national average.
- 72% C and above in English and maths
- 85% C and above in English
- 21% A*-A in maths
In terms of the government’s new progress measures, Progress 8, we estimate our figure will be 0.3, indicating students achieved on average one third of a grade above national average.
Paul McKeown, Principal stated “this is our best year so far, great GCSE results. The students have lived up to the school mantra of ‘High Expectations – No Excuses.’ Many have exceeded the very challenging targets that were set. Many are now embarking on A Level studies in TBOWA 6th Form which has also seen outstanding results this year.’
